Please meet Erika A. Garay, an esteemed attorney at JakobLegal and Andrea L. Jakob, P.A., where she serves as the Head of our Probate Division and a highly skilled Estate Planning Attorney.

Hailing from Miami, Erika is deeply rooted in our vibrant community. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from Florida International University. Erika then pursued her passion for law and obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in 2017.

During her time at law school, Erika showcased her exceptional legal acumen as the Greenbook Editor for the prestigious ILSA Journal of International & Comparative Law. Her dedication to legal scholarship and attention to detail contributed to the success of the publication.

Prior to joining our firm, Erika honed her litigation skills in a prominent role, where she independently managed a diverse caseload and skillfully navigated each matter through all phases of litigation and trial. Her comprehensive experience in the courtroom has equipped her with a deep understanding of the intricacies of legal proceedings.

As a testament to her commitment to excellence, Erika is a fluent Spanish speaker and maintains an active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar. Her bilingual capabilities enable her to effectively serve our diverse clientele, ensuring clear and seamless communication throughout the legal process.
