The US Department of Health has created a new site to connect people with resources to educate and support those with different types of dementia. The site provides the leading development ideas and techniques in all aspects of Alzheimers. Alzheimers.gov is the federal government portal to information and resources on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, including Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal disorders, and vascular dementia. Some of the great information contained in the site includes “life with Dementia”, Taking Action, Clinical Trials, Caregiver information, etc….
Alzheimers.gov is managed by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). HHS is the U.S. government’s principal agency for enhancing the health and well-being of all Americans.
